Our tranquil, boutique Pilates studio sits at the heart of the stunning Chew Valley. We offer a refined and tailored approach to this transformative, science-backed system of Reformer and Equipment Pilates under the expert guidance of highly experienced instructors, with onsite support from our specialist therapists, allowing us to provide tailor-made solutions for fitness, wellbeing and rehabilitation - whatever your goals. We offer general, orthopaedic and specialist sports rehabilitation, catering for everything from pre & post-natal mothers or pre and post-op patients, to runners, cyclists and youth athletes.

FAQ

  • Head to New manor farm shop, Rise Chew Valley is the building next to the new manor farm nursery. Knock on the door and wait to be let in if the door is closed. There may be a therapy or class on.

  • Yes there is parking in the new manor farm shop and nursery parking lot. 

  • Yes, Pilates can be adapted for all fitness levels, including beginners to elite athletes. Instructors tailor exercises to suit your ability and goals. It’s a good idea to start with one of our starter packages to give you a 1:1 first. 

  • For optimal results, 2-3 times a week is recommended, but even once a week will bring benefits.

  • Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. Bare feet or grippy socks are a must in our studio.

  • Mat Pilates is done on the floor using body weight and small props, while reformer Pilates uses a specialized machine with springs and pulleys for resistance.

  • Classes are 55 minutes long. 

  • No, we supply everything in the studio for you. 

  • Yes, Pilates is often used for injury rehabilitation, but it’s important to inform your instructor so they can modify exercises as needed or see one of your physiotherapists or Osteopaths before joining a class or 1:1 

  • Yes, we offer 1:1 classes for new to Pilates mum’s to be. This would be with one of our prenatal qualified instructors. 

  • Yes, one of the core benefits of Pilates is improved posture by strengthening the muscles that support your spine.

  • We have a maximum of 6 Clients in a class so all of our classes are great for individual needs and bespoke to your goals. 

  • We require 24-hour notice for cancellations to avoid being charged for the class.

  • Yes after your starter package one of our instructors will be in touch with you to discuss membership options, or you can book a call.
